Achieve Wellbeing Therapy is dedicated to providing support and therapy for various mental health issues. However, we are not a crisis service and are unable to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations.
What to Do in a Mental Health Crisis
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis and needs immediate help, please consider the following options:
Emergency Services
- Call 999: If you are in immediate danger or require urgent medical attention, please call 999 for emergency services.
NHS 111
- Call NHS 111: For urgent but not life-threatening medical advice, call NHS 111. They can provide guidance and direct you to appropriate services.
Samaritans
- Call 116 123: The Samaritans offer confidential support 24/7 for anyone who needs to talk. You can also email them at .
Crisis Text Line
- Text “SHOUT” to 85258: Shout is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone in crisis.
Local Crisis Teams
- Contact your local NHS crisis team: Most areas have a crisis resolution and home treatment team. You can find your local team through your GP or NHS 111.

Advice for Supporting Someone in Crisis
